Is anyone doing ES cluster state/performance monitoring/alerting?
anyone integrated with Monit, Nagios, Zabbix, Ganglia, ... ? Care to
share what setup you are using?

elasticsearch provides a lot of statistics in its stat API and will provide
more in the future (index level stats), it also exposes those stats over
JMX. So, at least in that sense, it might make it simpler to integrate with
monitoring tools.
