My log server and ELK server both are in same time zone but in kibana discovery page log @timestamp shows different time

Hi,

My Log server and ELK server both are in UTC-1 time zone but in kibana discovery page log @timestamp shows different time.

Note: Initially my ELK server was in IST time zone later I changed it to UTC-1 matching log server.

I'm pushing the logs using filebeat.

Hi @PrasanthDaya,

There is a setting under Management > Kibana > Advanced Settings that will let you specify the timezone for date formatting, which affects the timestamps in Discover.

By default this is set to your browser's configured timezone, but updating that setting should allow you to display the timestamps in the timezone that is consistent with your server. (Of course, another option would be to change the configured timezone of your browser).

Would you mind giving this a try to see if it works for you?
