Hi everyone - So far we have been using "match" query as that is supposed
to be search-box friendly.
Now I have been reading through the release notes of 0.90.8 and see that
Lucene's SimpleQueryParser is now
availablehttps://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/issues/4159.
Hence wanted to get your thoughts on whether this new SimpleQueryParser (
simple_query_stringhttp://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/query-dsl-simple-query-string-query.html)
is really as powerful as it seems and has the potential to be used when one
wants to allow basic expressions (AND, OR, NEGATION, etc) in the search
text box.
