No node available and cluster/nodes/info] request_id [0] timed out

Hi,

I am using elasticsearch-1.6.0. When I am using TransportClient then continuously i am getting error:
Below are Java code and error -

([inet[/127.0.0.1:9200]][cluster/nodes/info] request_id [0] timed out
after [100003ms] and No node available) -

Does anybody had this problem? Or could someone give some ideas how to fix this?

Code:-

CsvToJson jsonDocument = new CsvToJson();

Settings settings = ImmutableSettings.settingsBuilder()
        .put("cluster.name", "tempcluster")
        .put("client.transport.ping_timeout", "100s").build();

Client client = new TransportClient(settings)
        .addTransportAddress(new InetSocketTransportAddress(
                "127.0.0.1", 9200));

client.prepareIndex("location", "article", "1")
        .setSource(jsonDocument.readfile()).execute().actionGet();

Error:-

is your transport client reachable to the es node via port 9200? is your es cluster named tempcluster too?

I am having similar issue. Were you able to resolve it?

Zayn, I am pretty sure transport protocol is , normally, TCP/9300. Http is
on 9200.

Easy way to test, curl localthost:9200 . if u get json back , u r using
defaults and 9200 is the http interface.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried with IP/9200, IP/9300 and localhost/9200 but still getting same issue "No node available".
I don't know how I can fix this issue.

With Node Client its working fine.

Still getting same issue. If you found some solution then please post.

Use port 9300

Hi David,

Below is my setting and client configuration. I tried client with 4 different ways but still same issue.

Settings settings = ImmutableSettings.settingsBuilder()
.put("cluster.name", "tempcluster")
.put("client.transport.sniff", true)
.put("client.transport.ping_timeout", "25s").build();

Used 1 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Client client = new TransportClient(settings)
.addTransportAddress(new InetSocketTransportAddress(
"56.X.X.X", 9300));

Used 2 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Client client = new TransportClient(settings)
.addTransportAddress(new InetSocketTransportAddress(
"56.X.X.X", 9200));

Used 3-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Client client = new TransportClient(settings)
.addTransportAddress(new InetSocketTransportAddress(
"127.0.0.1", 9300));

Used 4-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Client client = new TransportClient(settings)
.addTransportAddress(new InetSocketTransportAddress(
"127.0.0.1", 9200));

What are the server logs ?
