Discuss the Elastic Stack

No of shards for 500mb index?

Default 5 shards and 1 replica is OK or I should decrease no of shards for such indices?
I have about 50 such indices on one host (1 cluster).

Use 1, with 1 replica.

The default in 7.X is 1, you should upgrade
