Not able to delete Kibana Index

Hi. I have a few index patterns which don't have any indices in Elasticsearch (it did but curl has deleted them out as they were old).
Seems like a strange one because with 2.4 I was able to delete Kibana indexes with no problem.

I don't want to have to send data to those indices just to be able to delete the Kibana index.

Hi

I suspect that you are running into an issue where index pattern exists in the KB settings, but not in ES. In this case you cannot delete that index pattern from Kibana. There is an issue already logged for this and you can subscribe to this issue to get updates on it .
