Patching Reprots

Hi,

Im interested to see if anyone has implemented a visual that reports on server patching status. Im running through the options of pulling in data from yum.log and other to command outputs to display the patching status (last patched, outstanding patches etc...) for each host in the estate.

Has anyone approached this in a similar fashion?

Just a side comment: it should be doable, there are ways to display the data. Just not sure from the OS pov what data you can get.

I have resorted to pulling the yum.log file and running through a grok pattern to split out the data to then display it in tables/graphs
