Pie chart custom label in 7.2

Today I've noticed, that custom labels in Pie Charts are not shown. We are using version 7.2 and I found here, that the same error was fixed in 5.4 in 2017. Is this error new again in 7.2 ? Or is there another solution to fix this ?

@nogro2601 I can reproduce this. This seems to be a regression in 7.2, as it works fine in 7.1.
