I just upgraded from 6.1.1 to 6.2. It is rather irritating that pipelines.yml gets overwritten. It would be nicer if the package created a .rpmnew file instead.
@Badger- thanks for reporting this. I have logged https://github.com/elastic/logstash/issues/9129 with PR https://github.com/elastic/logstash/pull/9130 to get this fixed.
