Print some line to stdout, Logstash filter pipeline

Hello,

is there a way to print a line to stdout in filter pipeline some field, or any text? I have found there is stdout plugin to use, but have not found a single correct example how. Would be good to have some possibility to print something while plugins a re being applied and modifying event object. thanks

I haven't seen an example or attempted this, but off the top of my head maybe using the ruby filter and writing the data you want out to a file might work. If a module that has that functionality is loaded also.
