Procedure for Backup/Recover the elastic search data from cluster

Can anyone help you us in finding the steps to recover or backup the elastic search data before the indices are corrupted or any malfunction happens in the cluster or nodes.

Is that snapshot supports only for AWS(Cloud) or windows server too.
