I ran some tests on my Elasticsearch cluster with rally, using the eventdata track and the combined-indexing-and-querying challenge, and am hoping to get some help interpreting the results. I'm interested in the metrics for the following tasks:
fieldstats_elasticlogs_q-*
relative-kibana-content_issues-dashboard
clear-caches-4000
current-kibana-traffic-dashboard_30m-4000
Can anyone provide explanations of the metrics given for each?
I understand the min, mean, median and max descriptions, but I can't find an explanation of exactly what throughput is being measured for each... searches, indexing...? Also, are the "clear caches" metrics supposed to correspond to the the effect on index append elasticlogs_i_write of clearing the caches, or is it the disk I/O being generated by clearing the caches?
