Recover indices after power outage?

Hello All,
Our server room housing the majority of our elasticsearch nodes was powered down without warning. After getting the servers rebooted, Kibana, Marvel, etc. would not come back up with data. The cluster shows green but when I run curl -X GET 'http://localhost:9200/_cat/indices?pretty'

I get the following example on all most of the indices:
red open .marvel-es-1-2017.07.18*
red open .marvel-es-1-2017.07.15*
red open .marvel-es-1-2017.07.16*

When I try to close or reindex one of the indices on the list, I get:
{"error":{"root_cause":[{"type":"remote_transport_exception","reason":"[socelkd012][16x.1xx.16x.222:9300][indices:admin/close]"}],"type":"null_pointer_exception","reason":null},"status":500}

Any guidance would be very appreciated.
