Im reading the documentation, and as far as I can see I could implement remote clusters to perform a cross cluster search. But theres a catch my cluster 7.x is using TLS and the cluster 6.8 is not using TLS, is it posible to perform the remote cluster config?

I believe both clusters must be either secured or unsecured for it to work. I would recommend you secure your 6.8 cluster.
Could you please confirm me this? Can I only encript the transport layer (9300)?
