Restart elasticseach master overriding some index template

We have faced some weird issue. restarting master node overriding alias name in index template. we have an three master and couple of data nodes

index_template before restart master node.

"aliases" : {
"pmetrics-mobile-prod" : { }
}

index_template after restart master node.

"aliases" : {
"pmetrics" : { }
}

we didn't find anything from master log.

What version are you on?
How are you finding this error?
How is the index template being loaded into Elasticsearch?

Elasticsearch version is 7.9.0, using python script to load the template, verified logs manually after reboot master. we use the the same template version and keep update the template if its required.
