Good morning.
After a data corruption in a server we have the path of the Snapshots repository.
When adding the repository on a new cluster, the Snapshots it contains do not appear.
Is there any way to recover the information contained in that Snapshots Repository?
Thanks in advance.
Welcome to our community!
What sort of repo are you using?
Thank you very much.
The repo is a file system.
Was the corruption on the filesystem that the repo lives in?
How did you set up and register the snapshot repository? Which version of Elasticsearch are you using?
Sorry for the delay in my response.
I've been away for a few days.
"Was the corruption on the filesystem that the repo lives in?"
No, corruption did not affect the snapshots repository.
It did affect the .kibana living indexes.
How did you set up and register the snapshot repository?
The snap shot was created from the kibana snaphosts configuration tool. The snapshots were being performed correctly and the snap files are in your repository.
Which version of Elasticsearch are you using?
The snapshots were done with version 7.7 . Now we have migrated to version 7.10 and it is the version we would like to recover them in.
