Searchable but not_analyzed

I have a field : presentation_title that I set to "not_analyzed".
I did this so I could sort in Kibana.

Problem is, I am unable to FULLY search the data.
For example, I have a title: Disparities_in_Lung_Cancer

With the current settings, I can only search for this title by matching the first few letters of the title.
I cannot get a match by searching for Lung.

Any suggestions on how to handle this?

Hi,

You could try using multi-fields so you could have a not analyzed field (presentation_title.raw) and an analyzed one (presentation_title).

Then you just have to sort by "presentation_title.raw" and search by "presentation_title".

Oddly, the data is sorting now.
But I will consider your suggestion.
