Searching message that contains "--------------"

Hi,

We have managed to get Kibana running with beats and elasticsearch at my work which means that we can do more root cause analysis reading logs from an IIS instance.

However I do not manage get the search for messages / querystring that contain "--------------".
How do I do that?

The querystring looks like this:

{"ClickedButton":"","IsMenu":"False","SessionGuid":"68ca2fdd-9872-4724-a7eb-3fc5a21b18f2","Unit1":"XX","Unit2":"--------------","Unit3":"YY","Unit4":"--------------","empty":"false"}

Can someone please send me an answer?

What does the mapping for your index look like?

What does a sample document look like?

Where are you using the provided query string?
