Server Metrics not available when Public API/ Manual Instrumentation is used for APM

We are using public API for manual instrumentation, As per our observation server/system metrics are not getting uploaded in such cases. Requesting to kindly look into this.

Elastic.APM Package - 1.25.2
Agent Version - 1.25
