For legacy support reasons, my team needs to deploy a 1.6.2 cluster and support SSL on it. I have contacted Elastic through https://www.elastic.co/subscriptions to see if I could get a license, but this version is so old that it seems they don't make licenses anymore.
Anyone else facing a similar problem? How could I go about using shield for SSL on such an old version? thanks!
I am evaluating a similar path. Most of my code depends on the SearchResponse object that the TransportClient returns, so making the change to something like Jest will require a lot of work. Do you know of any way in which I can build a SearchResponse from Json?
