Snapshot repository encryption with FS type

Any inbuilt functionality that we can use for encrypting elasticsearch snapshot repository using "FS" type? or any other known solutions?

May I know in which version of elasticsearch can we see this feature https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/53352?
