What are the steps to install and run Filebeat on Solaris 11.3?
I know that Solaris is not officially supported though I'd like to test it's capabilities on this OS.

If you want to run it on Solaris you have to compile your own binary. Best is to check out the github beats repo on your Solaris machine and then run go build
in the filebeat directory. This should give you directly a binary that you can execute.
