[SOLVED] How long a "gradle check" is supposed to take?

Hi,

I'm new to Elasticsearch contribution workflow. I've stopped the gradle check command on my laptop after 20 minutes.

Could an Elasticsearch developer/contributor tell me how long this command is supposed to last?

My hardware is:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz × 4
  • 8 Gb RAM

A full check can take a couple hours, depending on the power of the hardware. On an i5, with that much memory, I would expect it to take on the longer end.
