Strange issue - in flight request estimated size

Hey guys,

My setup :

  • ES 6.5.1
  • JDK 1.8
  • Centos 7

I have had strange issue yesterday with two nodes of my ES cluster when only two nodes get write_queue full and increase until i restart my node(because node was crashed)

i saw on my graph that the metrics "in flight requests size estimated" increase much (picture attached)

Someone knows what it could be related to ?

i would like to add that today on normal activity and without any issue, this metric looks like the picture below
