Summing up average of two fields

Hi Team,

Just wanted to know , if it is possible to sum up, the average of two data fields to one?
For example, say i have, two numeric fields dumped into elasticsearch, viz. 'expenses' and 'balance' and i have to calculate sum of average of expenses and average of balance.
How can we achieve this?

Values for 'expenses' and 'balance' fields is set in few of the records, and not all of them which are present in elasticsearch
