based on this PR, the support for Azure managed identity is added to the main branch and about to be release in 8.16.0. What is the release date for the 8.16.0 ?

also can, you provide the clear instructions or the sample on how to use Azure managed identity ?

Elastic does not publish a roadmap, but since 8.15 was release last week, I would not expect 8.16 to be released at least for a couple of months.

is there a way to get the pre -release 8.16.0 version ? or image from the main branch ?
