Support for environment variables in kibana.yml

Hi there!

Just wondering if in the near future there will be support for using environment variables in Kibana's configuration file. Will definitely come very handy since I have to set up different locations for PID file, logs, and data, and specifying the whole path every time is time consuming.

It's not possible right now, but it's an outstanding request: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/6688.

I don't think it's being scheduled for the short term though.
