Is there quick way to track down syntax changes for future elasticsearch releases? (a list of major changes instead of having to find them in the documentation). For instance, the exists filter is being replaced by exists query, filtered query will be deprecated and bool query is encouraged to use instead. Since the elasticsearch 5 will be released in the future, it will be nice to know the major changes without surprises.
The documentation contains a "Breaking Changes" section where we try to list all the changes that are not backwards compatible from the previous release. I have linked to the document for the upcoming 5.0 release (bear in mind as changes are still going into 5.0 this document may change before the release) but we have the same section in the documentation for previous releases too.
