Time series metric in Kibana

Is it possible to create time series metric in Kibana like we can do in Grafana.

Short answer: yes. Longer answer: there may be features missing that you expect out of a data store meant to work with times-series data such as automatic down-sampling. However, the aggregations available in elasticsearch make it a compelling option especially when you want to correlate those metrics with other events/logs/messages.
