Too many terms in ES 5 compared to 1.7

Hello

We're migrating ES 1.7 to ES 5 but somehow index size of ES 5 is bigger than 1.7 by more than 10 times.

Lucene tim file sizes mostly take up the space and I followed all advices from https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/5.2/tune-for-disk-usage.html but nothing worked.

Do you have any idea?

I found a culprit, geo_shape is extracting a lot of terms :slight_smile:
