Unable to create data stream in Elastic Search 7.9

Hello,

I am trying to create data streams in my Elasticsearch which is 7.9 using this guide but unable to create as I cannot see options to route to State Management > Index Management as I can see both are different options in the menu, Also further mentioned options in the guide are also not available. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It's not available in the distribution you are using. You need to use the official version of elastic and preferably 8.x or 7.17.

Thanks for the response. Will consider upgrading it to said version. Will it affect any of the index related operations which I am doing today in my cluster?

Probably but I can't tell as I don't really know and use non official distributions.
