Unit logstash.service not found

Just configured a new logstash server and when I went to restart logstash I found out that my logstash.service wasn't available.

I tried to re-install logstash and get the following error:

chmod: cannot access '/etc/default/logstash': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing package logstash (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
logstash
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I used the same way of installing logstash a few days ago and had no errors.

Has a new package of logstash been released and is causing problems?

Jason
