User Retention Analysis in Kibana (Cohorts)

Hi,

I would like to create a chart in Kibana showing user retention by cohort over time. See below as an example of what I would like to create. The chart below shows that among users who started on Day 0, ~50% returned on Day 1, and ~2-3% returned on Day 30.

Is this possible to create in Kibana? I installed the cohort analysis chart plugin by elo7, but that doesn't serve this use case.

Looks like if you created an entity-centric index on user and held a daysUntilReturn property you could draw a chart much like this age distribution example:
