Created elastic stack configuration for our application and we need to visualize top 5 exceptions(in terms of count) occurred by reading our logs. We created a new field named 'exception' by configuring it in logstash. Currently we can able to see field name 'exception' in Discover of Kibana. While creating the pie chart visualization we are not able to see the field 'exception' under terms. We are able to see other fields like beathostname etc. How we can add this custom field inside this.
Can you go into your index patterns and click on the index pattern you're talking about here, then click on the refresh fields button?
