Hello, has anyone using VMware vSphere integration gotten tags from VMs? It seems like NewRelic can grab custom tags from vSphere: https://docs.newrelic.com/install/vsphere/
Background: Many admins use custom tags on VMs for reasons like "Do Not Backup" or "Yes, Backup" under a backup tag field. We want to start using tagging and ability to read the tags is important in Elastic.
The vsphere integration uses the Metricbeat module to gather data. There is no support for tag collection added.
@dot-mike Yeah it appears that the integration/metricbeat are collecting “custom fields”
but not vm tags .
