We are planning to build ELK cluster in our environment. Need to know which is the latest stable version is good to setup ?
It is always the latest version available. The only exception to this is when a new major version is about to come out and there are alpha, beta and maybe even release candidates, which are not considered suitable for production. We are now a number of releases into the 8 release line so I would go with the latest 8.x.
