Why is the MergePolicyConfig documentation missing?

I noticed that the documentation for the MergePolicyConfig.java file (https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/blob/master/server/src/main/java/org/elasticsearch/index/MergePolicyConfig.java) is not being shown on the documentation page at https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.5/index-modules-merge.html. I can't seem to find that documentation any where.

Should that documentation be available?

we removed this documentation on purpose since we consider changing the MP is a high profile expert task. If you are on the level of an expert that changes stuff there which is discouraged generally, (there are always exceptions) you should be able to find the docs in our source files which are accurate and up-to-date. Changing the merge policy is last resort usually hence we would like the average user to not even know about these settings.
