Will reindex operation executes sequential if document ids mentioned in source

Hi all,

If i mentioned list of document ids in source while reindex operation, then is it provable that all ids is been reindexed sequentially.
I have concern here that if reindex operation stopped in any case then whatever document ids indexed should be in sequential manner so that remaining i can reindex easily after that.
