Windows Embedded support?

Hi,

I know that Windows Embedded / IoT is not listed under https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix
But are there any experiences if it works on Windows Embedded?

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. If you're referring to the following operating system, it looks like it was based on Windows XP.

Microsoft ended support for this OS earlier this year:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4489209/end-of-support-for-windows-embedded-2009

The last version of Go to support Windows XP was 1.10. Older versions of Beats based on Go 1.10 such as version 6.8.x may work for Windows Embedded 2009, but it's something we have not tested or officially supported.
