6.X License time running out

Hello,

I recently made this post this post basically asks what happens when Elastic 5.6's license time runs out.

Now I was wondering what would happen in V6.X if the license were to run out.

Any insights are appreciated!

The answer is basically the same, the paid features stop working and you need to revert back to the basic license.

I think that the main difference is that you would not need to request a license from Elastic, as the basic license is built-in since x-pack is not a separate plugin on version 6.X anymore.

But are you planning to use version 6? It is already not supported.
