Aggregation on fields

Hi ,

Is it required to have field stored too run the aggregation/facets ?

The field needs to be indexed. Does not need to be stored.

hi ,

am aggregating on field called "FileName" but am getting the aggregated buckets form the field values from other fields .
Not sure what am doing

Thanks Dan , I figured it out and was giving the same index_name for all the fields
