I installed elasticsearch and kibana version 7.0.0 basic license on windows.
what are the steps required to enable basic authentication and autherization.
please advise.
You need to upgrade to 7.3, that's the minimum required version - https://www.elastic.co/blog/security-for-elasticsearch-is-now-free
However please do use a newer version, the latest is 7.7.
