Can only use wildcard queries on keyword, text and wildcard fields

Hi,

I have defined mappings for my index when i am doing wildcard search ipaddress
i am getting an error

Can only use wildcard queries on keyword, text and wildcard fields - not on [scan_iteration] which is of type [integer]

since the values in scan_iteration are integer so can not change the data type for the field.
