Can RUM be used with mobile apps (android and IOS)?
If yes, how and if no, what is the alternative?

Thank you very much for your interest in RUM.
The main focus of RUM is to be executed inside a browser context, as it relies on this context's events and actions to structure and ship off data to ES. While it might be technically possible to leverage RUM inside native apps, it's not a use case that we support.
There're are other alternatives for native apps:
- There's an iOS agent under development at the moment.
- For Android, there's no specific agent but it should be possible to leverage OpenTelemetry Java integration to manually instrument apps.
