I have a gold license but once i uploaded it via kibana > management > elasticsearch > license management I get this error.
Please let me know what are the next steps.

You will need to set up TLS on the cluster, I would recommend using the instructions at https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elastic-stack-overview/6.4/ssl-tls.html
Or, since you have a license, you should also be able to contact your support engineer to assist with this also.
