This is the error I receive trying to install Cloud Enterprise on CentOs7, all other checks pass. I have double checked I have followed the documentation. I can telnet and ping the hostname and it resolves fine, firewall has been disabled. Not sure what else I can look at.
If I use the hostname , I get that error. It worked using the IP address. Weird that I can ping, and telnet on hostname and it resolved fine.
When you are pinging the hostname, is it from your local machine, or the machine that you are trying to install ECE on? The check validates that it can communicate to the hostname from the machine that is starting ECE. Id recommend trying to ping the hostname from that machine if you have not yet.
