Change default for "index_options"

Hi,

I'm trying to get rid of anything unnecessary in my cluster and want to change the default for "index_options", from positions to docs. At least generally on an index level. I don't have any query that'd benefit from the frequency, position, or order of a term. Mostly various logs and metrics from applications. Is there a way to achieve that without setting that for every field?
