Change the time interval of mysql module's status metricset

Hi,
How can I change the time interval in which the status metricset runs the 'show status' query
Is there any such option in mysql.yml config file?
What is the default time interval of mysql's status metricset?

These settings are available to all modules in metricbeat. The period setting determines the interval use by the configured metricsets.
