Hi all,
I made a grok filter to for logstash that created fields in kinbana. This is great but in discover, I am having to add the fields manually every time i load in. Is there a way to make kibana load in the fields automatically?
Thanks!

Hi @gba8912
What version of Kibana are you using?
Can you explain a little more what you mean when you say you have to "add the fields manually every time you load in?"
Ho Corey,
Thank you for your reply. I am using kibana 7.13.4
Attached is a screenshot of my available fields. You can see that I have to add them manually by clicking the blue +. I need to make them load into the query by default when i open discover for this index. Is that possible?
Ok, I think I understand now what you are looking for.
Kibana does not have the feature that you are asking for specifically (automatically selecting fields for a given Index Pattern).
Does Saving your Discover Search and then coming back to that pre-saved search accomplish what you're trying to do (not having to re-select all the fields you are interested in)?
