Configure kibana's default index pattern in source

Is there any way to configure Kibana source with default index pattern?

When Kibana gets loaded for the first time, it asks for settings for index pattern with "logstash-*".
I would like Kibana to loaded with pre-defined index pattern which should get configured in source and get build.

this is not possible yet, but actively being worked on. You can subscribe to Github Issue elastic/kibana#6051 to be receive notifications as soon as the issue status changes. Feel free to add comments to that issue as well if you feel your use case is not sufficiently covered by what has already been described.
